Ciara Downey, 6th Grade
One of this week’s highlighted students is Ciara Downey, who is in 6th. Ciara has been at King’s Way her whole life, and her favorite thing about King’s Way is the positive environment and it is a place where you can ask questions about faith. Ciara has one older sister and three cats: Sophie, Maggie, and Strider. Ciara’s hobbies include arts and crafts, drawing, and playing soccer. She has played soccer for 8 years, and has been doing art and drawing practically her whole life. Some talents she also has is writing and presenting projects. When Ciara grows up, she says that her dream job would be to work at an aquarium or zoo. This is because she has a passion for animals, and finds them fascinating and unique. She loves to be around all kinds of animals. If Ciara could choose to live in any fictional world, it would be somewhere sunny rainforest because of all the wildlife. Her favorite subject in school is Band, and she plays the trumpet. She loves Band because she loves playing music; she finds it calming, and it opens opportunities to play at her church. Finally, she says her favorite Bible verse is John 3:16 because it sums up everything she believes.

Ciara says she would rather ride a Zebra because they are similar to horses, and Elephants would be harder to ride.

Ciara says she would rather travel anywhere for free for 5 years because there are so many places to go, and so much wildlife to see.
Jordan Ransom, 7th Grade
One of this week’s highlighted students is Jordan Ransom, who is in 7th grade. Jordan has been at King’s Way since Preschool, and his favorite thing about King’s Way is how all of the teachers are nice. He has no siblings, but he does have two dogs: Maverick and Casper. One of his dogs is a Golden Retriever and the other is a Beagle. When he grows up his dream job is to be a bail officer. Jordan’s favorite subject in school is Math because he enjoys learning about different types of Math problems. If he could have any talent Jordan says he would like to be able to run even faster. His favorite Bible verse is John 3: 16.

Abiline Holden, 8th Grade
One of this week’s highlighted students is Abiline Holden, who is in 8th grade. This is Abiline’s first year at King’s Way, and her favorite thing about King’s Way is the people. She has three other siblings, and is the 2nd oldest. She also has a dog named Bandit. Some hobbies that Abiline has is piano and track, and she has played piano for 6 years. When she grows up her dream job is to be an Archaeologist, because she gets to travel the world for practically free and get paid for it. Her favorite subject in school is Science because she says Mrs. Martin is great. Her favorite project she has done in Science is making catapults. Abiline’s favorite book and movie series is, The Hunger Games. If she could have any ability, she would love to be able to turn invisible so she could sneak around. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, because she learned about it at her youth group.
